Terms of Service

  • We will log your details, quote your costs and schedule the pickup time.
  • Bookings can be made up to three (3) months in advance.
  • Bookings must be confirmed via e-mail or telephonically with E & A Adventures. Bookings will be valid once the pre-defined deposit/proof of payment into our bank account has been received.
  • Our booking and administration hours are:

    Mon - Fri: 07:00 – 16:30
    Saturdays: 08:00 – 14:00
    Sundays: 11:00 – 15:30

  • Validated bookings taken will be carried out.
  • Changes and or cancellations must be done at least 48 hours prior to the booked date and time. These must be confirmed via e-mail or telephonically. E & A Adventures will confirm your change/cancellation via e-mail.
  • Deposits paid on bookings will be forfeited if the booking is not cancelled at least 48-hours prior to the booked date and time.
  • Full fare will be charged in the event of the customer not showing up or contacting E & A Adventures after 20 minutes from scheduled collection time, shuttle to the airport or other destination, and 90 minutes after actual arrival time of a scheduled flight at the airport.
  • However, if the flight is delayed, we will endeavour to monitor the situation and meet it at the new arrival time, subject to the information provided by the Airport Company of South Africa (ACSA) flight information system. We urge you to contact us and to provide us with the necessary information, should your flight be delayed by a couple of hours due to reasons including, but not limited to weather, airport closures, mechanical faults, technical problems or airport strikes.
  • Contact us immediately if you are delayed inside the airport terminal for reasons such as customs or luggage issues.
  • If the flight status change to divert or indefinitely delayed after a driver has been dispatched, we will wait 60 minutes at the airport for a status update.  If the status remains unchanged, the current booking will be cancelled and rescheduled.  An addition fee of R150 will be charged to reschedule a shuttle to collect you at the updated arrival time. If rescheduling is not possible, the customer will forfeit the deposit paid or will be liable for a payment of 50% of the original agreed fare.
  • Waiting time will be charged at R85 per hour or part thereof on the following:
    • 90 minutes after international flight arrivals
    • 60 minutes after domestic flight arrivals
    • 30 minutes after scheduled shuttle departure, unless quoted otherwise.
  • Advise us regarding the total number of bags and/or excess baggage (baggage that require more space than what a normal economy class passenger sedan offers.
  • Multiple pick up or drop-off points will have a surcharge of R50.00 per address – contact us for an extra quote.
  • All Toll Fees and fuel is included.
  • No entrance fees are included.
  • Transfers before 05:00 and after 23:00 will have an additional surcharge of R65.
  • Prices are subject to your final itinerary.
  • Payment must be made at least 72 hours before departure, unless arranged otherwise.
  • No debit/credit cards or cheques are accepted.  Payments must be made either by direct payments into our banking account or via electronic transfers.  Our banking details will be telephonically confirmed and official confirmation of your payment must be sent via fax or via the electronic facility of your banking institution.
  • Failure to pay, non-payments or late payments (without prior arrangement) will be subject to 12.5% interest.
  • No smoking and the use of alcoholic beverages will be allowed on our shuttle.
  • These terms of Service are subject to change without prior notice.

Disclaimer

  • E & A Adventures reserves the right to invite a sub-contractor, who will be personally known to us and recommended by us to give the required services at the same price. However, for an upgraded or more appropriate vehicle and service we will first obtain your approval of it.
  • E & A Adventures will not be liable for any damages including but not limited to personal injury, lost or damaged personal belongings, lost time because of traffic or any other circumstances beyond our control.
  • E & A Adventures is not responsible for any lost property and does not accept liability for any misplaced items of a personal nature.
  • E & A Adventures shall not be held liable should a client miss his/her flight due to traffic delays or other unspecified circumstances.
  • As our schedule might not be able to accommodate same-day transfer changes to a pre-booked transfer, we will not be able to guarantee that your request will be successful.
